New restaurants
Isaac Correa opened Corner Burger next door to Upside Down Cake, on Bolshaya Gruzinskaya street. The idea is old for New-York, but new for Moscow: high-quality burgers made from good American beef in an inexpensive friendly place.
Eclectic menu includes risotto in grape leaves, dolma, black cod, matzo meatballs, tabbouleh and white miso, but the most important part is fresh-off the grill burgers, of course. There’s a turkey burger, a pilgrim burger served on multi-grain toasts, a BLT with cheddar cheese, a “girly burger” with green salad instead of fries. To some burgers you can add different kinds of cheese. Average bill is 500-1000 rubles.
