New restaurants
Minselkhoz is a new restaurant specializing on bio food grown on farms in environmentally safe regions. The name is a Soviet abbreviation of the Ministry of Agriculture. The interior outplays the name: the restaurant is decorated in the Soviet style. The chef Sergey Batukov tries to keep in his food as much vitamins and other healthful components as possible.
On the menu you will find Uzbek mutton ravioli, smoked sturgeon, pike perch with mashed potatoes, rabbit leg with white cannellini ragout, stuffed Krasnodar pepper and grilled dishes - kebabs and vegetables served with spicy home-made sauces. The super special of Minselkhoz is wild strawberry pie, its ingredients are delivered by Arkadij Novikov - the owner of the restaurant and pluralistically a farmer. There is a little grocery near the entrance of Minselkhoz where one can try, buy and ask to cook the farm food.
