New restaurants
The owners of the fashionable St-Petersburg restaurant Schastye decided to open another place with the same name (which means “happiness”) in Moscow. The new Schastye is designed in fair colors, the central element of the interior are statues of angels, brought here from Europe.
The chef Dmitriy Reshetnikov works with French, Italian and Spanish dishes. For a starter one can have, for example, a classic French salad with chicken stomachs and liver, fresh field mushrooms, salad leaves, onion marmalade and truffle oil. The soups are mostly creamy vegetable ones. The hit of the main courses are pastas, especially the one with pumpkin, Gorgonzola cheese, porcini and sun-dried tomatoes.
The pastry chef is Ekaterina Kiselkova, who makes wonderful cloud-built profitroli and multicolored macarons with various tastes. Here one can order a cake for home celebration or take some pastry to go.
