New restaurants
Legendary bar of 1990s, Hungry Duck Bar & Grill, was reopened in a mansion on Sadovaya-Chernogryazskaya street. The place aims to be Moscow's leading North America inspired party bar, sports bar and grill restaurant.
The original Hungry Duck opened in 1995 and was led by Canadian, Douglas Steele, quickly becoming the most popular and notorious nightlife venue in Moscow. It was internationally famous for its 'anything goes' atmosphere, which included live music, House and Pop DJ's playing modern and retro hits, dancing on top of tables, chairs and the famous large oval bar, creative theme parties and "Ladies Nights". Guests were allowed and even encouraged to feel themselves free of inhibition and to simply enjoy themselves.
The concept for new Hungry Duck is taking inspiration and guidance from the original, but presenting it in a modern and updated manner. The "Go Nuts" spirit will continue and again be encouraged. Along with even more spectacular theme parties, the new Duck will include talented live musicians and DJ's, the largest oval bar in Moscow specially designed for dancing on, a delicious North American grill restaurant, a specially designed sports bar area and of course, the famous Ladies Night each Thursday. The chef is Guillaume Williams, who has participated in leading North American restaurant projects in Moscow, including the Starlight Diner, Beverly Hills Diner, the 21Prime Steakhouse & Bar and Papa's Place Bar & Grill.
