New restaurants
Old grocery store that traced its history back to the times of the last Russian tsar was turned into a café with the same name - Moloko (“Milk” in English). The interior is typical for Moscow: cream-and-chocolate colors, a brick wall, leather sofas and expensive wood. The menu is arranged to please everybody - either classic fans, or gourmets. For breakfast one can order bacon and eggs with French fries, for lunch - take noodle soup with pesto sauce and dressed herring with beetroot marmalade, for dinner - try grilled steaks and sea-fish. There are also some interesting dishes, like baked beetroot with goat cheese and green apple, borsch with smoked venison, steamed salmon with smoked tea and Asian sauce. Coffee list has some unusual items too, like sesame or lemongrass latte and vacuum Hario.
