New restaurants
The second café Ragout was opened on Olimpijskiy avenue. The menu mostly duplicates the one in the first café, but there are also some new things. First of all, Ragout-2 is different in size; there is a special hall for lectures, cooking classes and wine tasting equipped with a kitchen and a professional sound system. This hall is also available for private parties, it can seat up to 50 guests. The bar in Ragout-2 has an open kitchen with a grill and offers tapas menu and hot dishes in the best traditions of Hawksmoor and Boulud. The creators of the place promise extensive beer list and good choice of cocktails, following examples of London gastropubs and New-Yorl speak-easies.
For those who prefer cooking at home Ragout-2 has another attraction – a store that offers recipe books in different languages and various kitchen gadgets of either famous brands, or young but promising Scandinavian companies. Besides, the new Ragout will host a cooking school, where one can take two months cook or pastry-cook courses, visit kids cooking classes or lectures of famous Moscow chefs.
