Time Out Bar. Restaurants Moscow

Time Out Bar has been opened in the building of Hotel Peking. The place has two advantages: the bar list from celebrated mixologist Alexander Kan and terrific view from the terrace on the 13th floor. In the morning Time Out Bar offers its guests anti-hangover cocktails: Udar Byka (“Bull’s Blow”) – vodka with lemon and spices on cold beef broth, or Bloody Masha (Russian version of Bloody Mary with molecular foam from horseradish). Before dinner they serve “five o’clock tea” – teapots with tea cocktails like Samovar Kalinka Malinka with vodka, arrowwood berries puree, raspberry, honey, green tea, birch and lemon juice. The most popular mix for ladies is named Naomi (currants, blackberry, raspberry, coffee and vanilla wiped cream). The menu consists mostly of snacks, but very unusual ones, like cauliflower steak with Marcona almonds and black raisins infused in port.
