New restaurants
Arkadiy Levin, the owner of El Gaucho and Giovedi Café, opened a new restaurant. The place is named Taliesin after the famous manor of American architect Frank Lloyd Wright – the author of hundreds buildings, including the Guggenheim Museum in New York. Every detail of the restaurant’s decoration is copied from Wright’s sketches to his manor: the lamps, the tables, the wall panels and the sofas. Even the chocolate bars on desserts repeat architect’s proprietary ornament. The chef is Viktor Osipenko who used to work in Le Duc. The focus of the menu is meat cooked in different ways – baked in the wood stove, roasted on a spit, stewed in pots.
