New restaurants
Art café Rukav is situated next to the studio of the well-known Russian sculptor Alexander Rukavishnikov. There is an exhibition of his works on the first floor; the second floor is occupied by the school of fine arts – painting, sculpture, photography. Small companies can have lunch or dinner in a separate hall with vintage furniture. The chef underwent training in Thailand, so his signature dishes are tom yam and Thai-style duck with pineapple and celery. There are also Italian and French dishes on the menu; turkey and foie gras cutlets with red bilberry sauce and mille-feuille made from three kinds of fish (fresh, salted and smoked) are certainly worth trying. On Friday and Saturday night the restaurant turns into a pre-party club. The bar list includes special non-alcoholic cocktails – for example, with grapes and basil.
