New restaurants
Uzbek restaurant chain Sandyk opened a new place on Alabyana Street. A lot of attention was paid to the interior – here Asian trends are combined with European ones, like simple furniture and organic materials. The cuisine is by contrast very traditional – Uzbek chefs cook authentic dishes on tandyrs that were brought here from Tashkent. First of all in Sandyk one should try horovats baked on open coals (315 rubles), the national Uzbek specialty kazy (315 rubles) and spicy aralash (290 rubles). In the evening one can enjoy a hookah and a DJ set.
