Trendy Romanov Bar has recently appeared in Tretyakovsky proezd. This swanky place is supposed to combine British chic and American kitsch. The menu is focused on European classics, but thankfully without any Caesar salad or shrimps with arugula. The head chef Denis Nikiforov (Scandinavia, Timeout Bar) offers Catalan-style jamon-and-melon combination, lamb prosciutto with sun-dried tomatoes, venison carpaccio served with cowberry, Manchego cheese, cocoa and smoked salt, dorade fish with avocado, mango and ceps. The bar list features creative cocktails made from seasonal fruits and berries, home-made syrups and liqueurs. At the weekends the bar hosts live concerts, on working days the most popular entertainment is karaoke.
