New restaurants
Café 21 is the 21st project of Kirill Gusev’s Restoranny Sindikat (the restaurant holding behind Antricot, Zolotoy, Beefbar, Olivetta, etc) . The place has five areas: the main European-style dining hall, three private rooms (English, French and Oriental) and a summer terrace, decorated in signature style of Shigeru Ban – a Japanese architect, most famous for his innovative work with paper, particularly recycled cardboard paper tubes. The head chef is Dmitry Zotov, who gathered all the most popular dishes of Restoranny Sindikat in their slightly changed variations. For example, chicken Kiev is filled with truffle oil instead of morels (like it is in Zolotoy). On working days from noon to 4pm they serve 3 types of prix-fixe lunches: European, Asian and Russian.
