New restaurants
Moldova offers authentic Moldovan and Romanian dishes in traditional setting – with pictures of old Chisinau and scenic villages, handmade rugs and bright embroidered tablecloths with ethnic ornaments. The menu features such exotic items as platsyndas (Moldovan scones from homemade flaky dough with meat, cottage cheese, cabbage or potatoes), mitineas (fried homemade sausages), tokana (meat stew) or mamalyga (corn porridge). Spices and cornmeal are brought here from Moldova. Cheese, blood sausages and marinades are made on the premises of the restaurant. Another highlight of the restaurant is Moldovan wines, cognacs, vodkas and grappas.
