New restaurants
The restaurant Kak Yest was opened in the famous House of Nirnzee near Tverskoy Boulevard. The interior is typical for Moscow – exposed brick walls, big windows and vintage furniture. The head chef is Sergey Berezutsky, who undertook an apprenticeship at the 3 Michelin starred restaurant Alinea (Chicago). He likes to surprise his guests and uses such ingredients as pollen, coconut caviar or Japanese beans. The menu features veal kidneys with celery puree and mustard sauce, mushroom soup decorated with sour cream sphere, Kamchatka caviar marinated in yuzu and served with a sea weed sponge-cake. Vodka candy are highly recommended.
