Chestnaya Kukhnya

Sergey Yeroshenko, ex-chef of the well-known restaurants Godunov and Gilyay opened his own place named Chestnaya Kukhnya (“honest kitchen”). The new restaurant is supposed to be a real European-style place, with high-quality foods, adequate prices and right kind of atmosphere. Sergey is almost always at the restaurant himself, socializing with guests – ready to advise something, listen to critical comments or just talk about food. And local food is really worth discussing – the menu features tartare of muksun fish, wild boar cutlets, organic mutton and duck. Those who came not to eat but to drink will appreciate home-made liqueurs with juniper and estragon, Melissa and tarragon or chokeberry and chili peppers.
