The restaurant Rafinad occupies a historical building on Pokrovka Street. The chef has an impressive experience of working in Europe; in 2013 he won the Russian Bocuse d'Or competition. The idea of the place is to give people the opportunity to follow the latest trends of modern gastronomy for reasonable prices. The menu is very eclectic, with elements of molecular cuisine and very unusual serving. They offer tartare of marbled beef pickled in Japanese beer, warm salad of veal tongue with prawns and orange jelly, scallops with cuttlefish paste in apple cider and creative desserts, like panna cotta tasting like estragon or chocolate fondant with Gorgonzolla cheese. On Fridays and Saturdays Rafinad hosts bar parties. A separate hall is equipped with karaoke.
