Spetsbufet No1

The concept of the new place named Spetsbufet No1 is “Soviet diner”. The restaurant harks back to the Soviet years with retro kitch, like a wall-sized portrait of Leonid Brezhnev. The chef used to work in Ukraine, where as they say he cooked for members of the government. In Spetsbufet No1 he makes pelmeni and khinkali, pickles mushrooms and bakes pies according to his grandma’s recipes. The menu features traditional Soviet delicacies: sausages with green peas, vareniki stuffed with cream cheese, Russian salad, zander fish with vegetables and pancakes with honey and poppy seed.
