Chaikhona No1 in Aptekarsky Ogorod

One more lounge-café Chaikhona No1 has been opened in Russia's oldest botanic garden Aptekarsky Ogorod. The main reasons to visit are grilled meat, freshly baked bread, sweet-smelling tea and a summer terrace overlooking a beautiful pond. The main hall is decorated with natural flowers, green plants and wooden figurines of birds. Table lamps with big lampshades create a cosy old-fashioned atmosphere reminiscent of a Chekhov-style dacha, with windows looking on to a cherry orchard.
