New restaurants
A branch of the NY restaurant Saxon + Parole appeared in Moscow. The place was opened by the AvroKo team - Kristina O’Neal, William Harris, Greg Bradshaw and Adam Farmerie that have launched 25 projects and got lots of awards. The interior of the Moscow horse-themed eatery copies the New York original in all the details, including wall panels and door knobs. The tables are made from bowling lanes and some cases for bottles were rebuilt from library bookcases. The executive chef Brad Farmerie came to Moscow to get the place running and personally choose the future chef. The menu is very close to the NY standard, with grilled meat and lots of seafood. But there are also some exclusive items, like cheese pancakes made from smoked cheese and quince. The biggest hits of the first weekend were all steaks and Manhattan On Tap cocktail.
