Classy Georgian restaurant named George has appeared on Kutuzovsky Prospekt. The person behind the place is Nino Chanturia – the co-owner of “Seiji” and “Ginkgo”. The team of chefs headed by Lali Gadeliya are all Georgians personally invited by Nino. The menu is based on recipes taken from a culinary book printed in 1962 and has all the classics like kharcho soup (490 rubles), kutabs stuffed with estragon (510 rubles) or Georgian chicken (960 rubles). The main hall is decorated with hand-made lace, vintage candelabrums and original paintings of Georgian artists, including a big picture by Giya Bugadze that took a whole wall of one of the separate rooms.
